The amount of detail in the two 1800s corseted tops (and sheer number of hook & eyes) is staggering. I can't imagine wearing making them or wearing them.
Seems crazy that just about 40 years later, ladies were wearing the likes of this 20s dress at bottom. Those Victorian mothers and grandmothers must have thought people were just walking around in their underwear!
All 3 pieces were procured from an historical fashion archive and are in amazing condition.
