The Dallas Flea ~ A December weekend

A beautiful Saturday spent in Dallas at the second annual Christmas Dallas Flea. Lots of great things and met some more local Etsians. Always a joy!
I snagged a couple of prints(fox and mushroom) from Red Tile Studio and drooled over more prints like the be-spectacled bear at Pamela Michelle.

Some other favorite artists were ~f is for frank with their tooth and sea sponge jewelry
~The House of MacGregor millinery with beautiful hats of burlap and straw
~Signifying Not with quirky Printed tees, paper goods and medals, their blog is delightful as well if you have a taste for the comic macabre!
and last but not least a great vintage display where I found lots more of these mid-century beaded ornaments from Peace Traveler vintage. I can't wait to get a tree tomorrow and start a little Holiday decor, Have a great weekend!

Holiday Market

Whew, I have been so busy getting ready to deliver lots of my handmade goodies to the Holiday Market for Friday, I have barely had time to keep up! By tomorrow morning all will be done and I will treat myself to a much needed 3 hour break at the movies to see Harry Potter... finally!
Then, its a whirlwind of fun for 14 guests at my house, dessert baking starts tonight.
Here are some of my favorite things I have been working on.
~ Specimen shadow boxes for handmade jewelry
~vintage inspired Advent Calenders
~adding sparkles to anything that sits still
~Pumpkin vine handled cloches
~zipper flowers for adorning vintage pate jars of buttons, beads etc
~Vintage Flower Frog Christmas Trees
~Handmade cards of Yo Yos and Vintage Paper Garlands

I hope your Holiday is a blast...Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
