Sassy Brass

It's inevitable that when I find a necklace I fall really hard for, that it will have an awesome clasp. Most often a brass flower clasp.

The top two are ones that I sold last year and I am starting to kick myself for that.
Above is a 1940s apple jelly celluloid chain and pale pink shell necklace in the shop now. It also has a cute brass flower clasp.

I'm told she hasn't seen daylight in about 60 years, so maybe you should take her out for a spin!

Art Nouveau Jewelry

Here are those pictures from the Dallas Vintage show that I promised you a few weeks ago. All of my favorites! Love, love, love the bug and flower themed Art Nouveau sash pins. Threw in some bakelite and Victorian watch fobs and charms for ya! The prices were outrageous on the jewelry so I didn't buy much, but the dealers were more than happy to let me take a few pics : )

Three little flowers

I have a little collection going of 30's and 40s rings. Some are costume, others are real.

Recently, I began an obsession within the obsession and started looking for these three little flowers. I wonder if they have a significance? Found on the bands of the two rings above { the purple one is from Jean JeanVintage} and again on the pendant I got from a local antique mall.

I now have my eyes out for more and just found one on e-bay last night listed as a mourning ring.
We'll see.
