a Tribal update

A small tribal update in the shop beginning now and leading into more and more color throughout the weekend. An unusual break for me with lots of prints and vibrant hues of citrus orange, leafy greens, ocean blues and hibiscus pinks. A great way to begin the ease into fall.
Hard to think about really, yesterday it was 106 here and that was even with an afternoon shower!

Will Work for Vintage

A few of my favorite images from an all day photo shoot yesterday with the girls. Hanging out, going through vintage, drinking homemade black current and elderflower soda and eating crab and corn chowder. Great way to spend an afternoon!

Picnic in the Park

These are some new items coming to No Carnations on this lovely Monday afternoon. A great day for a picnic and I think I will head down to the park before it gets too dark...I'll be just in time for the fireflies.

Finds of the week

Oh how I wish I wore size 5 1/2 or 6! Great finds from one of my favorite thrifts, just sitting on the back shelf. Vintage 60's Givenchy brown mary janes. Vintage custom made Beltrami heeled oxfords from Florence and an amazing pair of vintage 1940's Bombshell floral sandals. Heading to No Carnations as soon as I get the time...maybe tomorrow afternoon ~
