Who's that girl?

I picked up all three of these dresses at one of my favorite local thrifts. Each one is handmade and built with lovely details. All incorporate a ruffle near the bust, self covered belts, fitted waists and a-line skirts. I believe these all came from the same talented seamstress who made these dresses in the 50's and 60's with a pension for 30's and 40's details. The fabrics are all lightweight with beautiful patterns.
Here's the kicker though, I purchased these dresses over a 3 month spread! So I am hoping to find a few more from this wonderful lady, whoever she is.

  2. don't you just love homemade finds? i always squeal when i find one on the racks. so much personality and time went into them! it almost makes me sad to see them in a shop, they feel so personal it's almost as if they belong in that person's family. oh well, one person's loss...:)
